Russia is preparing an assault on the Siversk direction – AFU

The Russian army has recently increased pressure on the Siversk direction.

This was reported by the spokesperson of the 11th Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Dmytro Zaporozhets, during a broadcast on «Suspilne».

 According to him, in this direction, the occupiers will attempt to carry out assaults using equipment before the rainy autumn.

«We expect another major assault, which may be directed towards the city of Siversk. The enemy will try to establish a foothold on the outskirts of Siversk in order to conduct combat operations for the city or bypass it from the northern part through the Siversk Forestry during the autumn-winter period», – said Zaporozhets.
