The President of Ukraine announced negotiations with Donald Trump regarding assistance and sanctions

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that he will have a conversation with US President Donald Trump "today or in the coming days."

Zelenskyy stated this during a press conference with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen in Copenhagen.

According to him, amidst the absence of negotiations between the leaders of Ukraine and Russia, Kyiv requested Trump to provide support in the form of additional aid and anti-Russian sanctions, to which the President of the United States promised to give "some response" in a few weeks.

"We will speak with the President of the United States today or in the coming days and clarify this issue," Zelenskyy said.
