The situation on the front: 54 combat engagements recorded, the most on the Pokrovsk direction

Since the beginning of the day, as of 16:00, there have been 54 combat engagements at the front.

This was reported in the bulletin of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Combat operations in the north

As a result of artillery shelling from the territory of the Russian Federation, border settlements suffered, such as Buchky, Hirske in the Chernihiv region; Novovasyliivka, Shalyhyne, Bila Bereza, Bunyakyne in the Sumy region. An airstrike with unguided aviation rockets was launched on the settlement of Zaliznyi Mist.

In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, our defenders repelled one attack by Russian troops. Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has carried out eight airstrikes, launching a total of 13 guided aerial bombs, and conducted 129 artillery shellings, including 10 from multiple launch rocket systems.

Combat operations in the Kharkiv region

In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, Ukrainian soldiers stopped one enemy attack in the area of the settlement of Vovchansk, with two more engagements ongoing.

In the Kupyansk direction, the aggressor conducted four assault attempts in the areas of the settlements of Stepova Novoselivka, Borivska Andriivka, and towards Petropavlivka and Novoplatonivka.

Combat operations in Donbas

In the Lyman direction, the invaders attacked six times near the settlements of Hrekivka, Karpivka, Kolodiazi, Torske, as well as towards Novyi Mirage and Shandryholove. Engagements are ongoing.

In the Sievierodonetsk direction, the Defence Forces repelled seven enemy attacks near Hryhorivka and towards Yampil, Dronivka, Sievierodonetsk, and Vyimka. Three engagements are still ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupants made two attempts to advance towards the settlements of Bondarne and Stupochky. One engagement is continuing.

In the Toretsk direction, our soldiers stopped seven enemy advances towards Shcherbynivka, Kleban-Byk, Rusyn Yar, and Poltavka. Two engagements are ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupants made 17 attempts to dislodge our defenders from their positions in the areas of the settlements of Volodymyrivka, Kucheris Yar, Myroliubivka, Novoeconomichne, Promin, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Molodetske, Dachne, and towards Novopavlivka. The Defence Forces are holding back the enemy’s pressure and have already stopped 13 attacks, with battles continuing.

Today, in the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy attacked seven times in the areas of Filya, Sichneve, Komyshuvakha, and Ol’givske. Four engagements are continuing.

Combat operations in the south

In the Hulyaipole direction, no offensive actions by the enemy were recorded since the beginning of the day. An airstrike was launched on the settlement of Bilohir’ya.

In the Orikhiv direction, two engagements occurred in the area of Kamyanske. An airstrike hit Stepnohirsk.

In the Dniprovskyi direction, the enemy made one unsuccessful attempt to breach our defence. The enemy conducted an airstrike in the area of the settlement of Kozatske.

In other directions of the front, the situation has not changed significantly.
