In Poland, a Russian drone damaged a house and a car: a heightened readiness regime has been introduced
A drone from Russia crashed into a residential building in the Lublin Voivodeship.
In the town of Wyryki (Lublin Voivodeship), a Russian drone landed on private property, damaging the roof of the building and a car parked in the yard. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
Poland has currently implemented a heightened state of readiness for the Territorial Defence Forces (WOT) following the violation of the country’s airspace and the initiation of search and rescue operations.
The military has reported that the arrival time of soldiers at the bases has been reduced to ensure rapid response to potential threats. In the Podlaskie, Mazovian, Lublin, and Subcarpathian Voivodeships, troops must arrive within six hours, and in the Pomeranian, Warmian-Masurian, Kuyavian-Pomeranian, Łódź, Świętokrzyskie, and Lesser Poland — within 12 hours. In the remaining regions, the deployment time remains unchanged — up to 24 hours.
The authorities are asking citizens to remain calm. If debris or suspicious objects are found, residents are requested not to approach them and to immediately inform the police.
