The SSU has accused a NABU detective of concealing a luxury apartment registered to relatives

The SSU has charged the deputy head of one of the NABU detective units with concealing a purchased apartment.

According to the investigation, he bought an apartment in Uzhhorod for almost $100,000 but registered it under the name of the mother of a close acquaintance.

Despite the fact that the family lives in this apartment, the NABU official did not mention this property in his 2023 declaration at all, and in the 2024 declaration, he listed it as rented. However, according to the SSU, he did not pay rent for it.

It was also established that the official’s parents live in the occupied territory and have Russian passports, although the officer did not disclose this when filling out documents for access to state secrets.
