In Ivano-Frankivsk, two men beat a National Guard serviceman: the attackers were detained

In the center of Ivano-Frankivsk, two intoxicated young men, aged 17 and 22, beat a National Guard serviceman, according to the police.

During a patrol, officers stopped two men who "were behaving aggressively and provoking passersby."

"The young men were harassing citizens, using rude language, and ignoring numerous warnings from the National Guard members. Then, in front of onlookers, they started a conflict with the servicemen. One of the guards was knocked to the ground and received multiple blows," the police reported.

As a result, the National Guard members managed to detain the attackers, who turned out to be residents of Yaremche and were in a state of alcohol intoxication. A case has been opened under the article "hooliganism." The 25-year-old serviceman was taken to the hospital.
