Night attack by Russia: Air defence shot down 52 out of 58 enemy drones
On the night of September 14, Russians launched an attack on Ukraine, using one ballistic missile and 58 "Shaheds," "Gerbers," and other types of drones. Air defence neutralized 52 enemy targets.
This information is reported by the press service of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In particular, Russians attacked Ukraine from the directions of Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. The air assault was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defence Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, air defence forces shot down and suppressed 52 enemy "Shaheds," "Gerbers," and other types of drones in the northern, southern, eastern, and central parts of the country.
In addition, a missile strike and hits by six attack drones were recorded at three locations, as well as the fall of downed debris at two locations.
The Air Force noted that in the morning, Russians launched a new wave of drone attacks from the northeastern direction.
