Situation on the front: Ukrainian forces repelled over 170 enemy attacks in a day

The Defence Forces continue to hold back the pressure of the occupation troops. As of now, a total of 173 combat engagements have taken place.

This is stated in the evening report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.

Today, Russia launched one missile strike and 52 airstrikes, using four missiles and dropping 73 guided bombs. Additionally, the invaders deployed 2,115 kamikaze drones for attacks and conducted 3,530 shelling attacks on our troops’ positions and populated areas.

In the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, eight combat engagements with Russian occupiers took place. The enemy carried out seven airstrikes, dropped 15 guided bombs, and conducted 110 shelling attacks, including one with multiple launch rocket systems.

Today, the enemy attacked eight times in the South-Slobozhanskyi direction near Vovchansk and towards Odradne. Three combat engagements are still ongoing.

Eight times the aggressor attempted to advance on our positions in the Kupyansk direction in the areas of Nova Kruhlakivka, Kindrashivka, Kupiansk, and Stepova Novoselivka. Three enemy attacks are still ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 30 Russian attacks today, 11 of which are still ongoing. The enemy advanced towards Stavky and near the settlements of Shandryholove, Derylovo, Kolodyazi, and Torske.

In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled eight enemy attacks. Occupation units attempted to advance in the areas of Serebrianka, Hryhorivka, Dronivka, Vyimka, and Fedorivka. One combat engagement is still ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk direction, seven combat engagements with the enemy took place in the areas of Stupochky and Oleksandro-Shultyno; fighting continues in two locations.

In the Toretsk direction, our troops repelled seven enemy attacks today in the areas of Pleshchiivka, Katerynivka, and Stepanivka. Three combat engagements are still ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk direction, throughout the day, the aggressor attacked our positions 39 times in the areas of Fedorivka, Nikanorivka, Myrnohrad, Rodynske, Sukhetske, Promin, Lysivka, Udachne, Novopidhorodne, Molodetske, Novoukrainka, Filiya, Dachne, Novoivanivka, and towards Novopavlivka. Holding back the enemy’s pressure, Ukrainian defenders repelled 38 attacks, with one battle still ongoing.

According to preliminary estimates, today in the Pokrovsk direction, the occupiers lost 128 personnel killed and wounded. Our soldiers destroyed five units of automotive equipment and 18 unmanned aerial vehicles; they also hit one multiple launch rocket system and one artillery piece.

In the Novopavlivka direction, our defenders have already repelled 25 enemy attacks near the settlements of Maliivka, Tolstoy, Oleksandrohrad, Ternove, Berezove, Temyrivka, Komyshuvakha, and Olhivske. Seven more combat engagements are still ongoing.

In the Hulyaipole direction, the Defence Forces successfully repelled an enemy attack near Poltavka. Airstrikes targeted the settlements of Bilohirya and Zaliznychne.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy advanced twice near Novoandriivka and Stepnohirsk.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled five assault actions by the occupiers. Enemy aviation struck Olhivka with unguided air-to-surface missiles.

"Today, it is worth highlighting the soldiers of the 426th Separate Unmanned Systems Battalion, who are effectively destroying the enemy, inflicting significant losses on their manpower and equipment," the General Staff noted.
