Ukraine is losing its technological advantage on the front lines.

This statement was made by the commander of the Third Assault Corps, Biletskyi.

«In 2022–2024, Ukraine led in innovations: it was the first to create a comprehensive drone surveillance system, a heavy bombing drone, underwent an FPV revolution, and established the use of interceptor drones integrated with radars. All of this emerged from the bottom up as initiatives of individual units, which we celebrated in the media, but failed to scale at the state level. And now, in 2025, Russia, following our path, has already surpassed Ukraine in the number of FPV drones, continues to borrow our technological solutions, and expands their application,» — Biletskyi stated.

In his opinion, Ukraine needs a strategy for the military-industrial development of technologies to maintain its advantage and respond to the challenges faced by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
