In "Diia" a mistake was found: Kostyantynivka was marked as Russian territory

An error was recorded in the "Diia" app in the birth certificate record, where the place of birth "city of Kostyantynivka, Donetsk region" was listed as the "Russian Federation". The corresponding screenshot was published by social media users.

"Diia" explained that the reason for the error is the incorrect entry of the archival record of the act by the registrar into the NAIS database, on the basis of which the data in the mobile application is generated.

They assured that the NAIS team is already working on correcting the situation and a global solution to prevent similar cases from occurring again.

It should be noted that "Diia" is not the operator of the registries. The app only displays information from state registries.
