Zelenskyy announced a busy diplomatic week during the UN General Assembly

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that the upcoming week will be "intense" in terms of diplomacy.

He stated this in his evening video address.

"We are now preparing for a very intense week – a week of diplomacy. We can achieve a lot if our partners listen to us and support proposals that truly bring the end of the war closer," Zelenskyy said.

He reminded that September 21-26 will be the week of the UN General Assembly.

"Already on the schedule – nearly two dozen meetings with leaders of various countries from all parts of the world, with those who have long supported Ukraine and with those among our new partners. The first meetings are already tomorrow," the president noted.

Zelenskyy also mentioned that a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump is planned.

"There will be a significant event regarding the return of Ukrainian children who were abducted by Russia – a truly global summit on this matter. It is important that this week adds determination to the world for strong actions – without strength, peace will not prevail," Zelenskyy added.
