Vereshchuk: Ukraine is preparing support programs for Ukrainians returning from Poland
After Poland decided to cancel payments for unemployed Ukrainians, Bankova will consider support measures for those returning from Poland.
This was stated by the Deputy Head of the Office of the President, Iryna Vereshchuk.
The assistance will include temporary housing, humanitarian, medical, and social support, as well as facilitation of the return process.
Vereshchuk noted that life in Poland "remains difficult" for the elderly, people with disabilities, single mothers with children, and other vulnerable categories.
"We also cannot ignore the gradual tightening of requirements for Ukrainians staying in Poland. This is especially sensitive for those who are unable to work. Therefore, we must prepare the Ukrainian social support system in advance," she added.
