"Ghosts" of DIU strike amphibious aircraft "Chaika" in Crimea for the first time in history

Ukrainian intelligence shot down two enemy amphibious aircraft Be-12 "Chaika" for the first time in history. This happened in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

This was reported by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.

According to the Defence Intelligence (DIU), on September 21, in the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea, specialists from the DIU special unit "Phantoms" shot down two Russian anti-submarine amphibious aircraft Be-12 "Chaika".

"This is the first destruction of Be-12 in history," the DIU noted.

Along with the two enemy Be-12 aircraft, during the raid in Crimea, the DIU "Phantoms" also hit another multi-purpose helicopter of the Russian invaders, a Mi-8.
