A wave of pseudo-minings in Kyiv and the region: shopping malls, schools, and clinics are being checked by special services
On Wednesday, September 24, 2025, a wave of bomb threat reports has once again swept through Kyiv and the capital region. The list includes both objects that are already accustomed to such alerts, such as shopping malls and educational institutions, as well as those that have been reported for the first time by hoaxers. However, from the scale, it can be concluded that all these reports are well-planned and coordinated, likely by hostile special services.
This is reported by Informator.
The bomb threat reports began to appear after lunch on Wednesday, September 24. It became known about the alleged "bombing" of educational institutions: "KROK" University, Kyiv Business Lyceum, and school No. 218. By the way, some of similar objects were already "bombed" days ago - in mid-September, the list included Lyceum No. 329, Gymnasium No. 65, the College of Maritime and River Fleet, and the Kyiv Mechanical and Technological Professional College.
Moreover, on September 24, a site was "bombed" that has probably never drawn attention in such a situation before. This refers to Policlinic No. 2, located on Ronald Reagan Street, 19, in Desnyanskyi district of the capital. On social media, photos appeared from the street near the medical facility, with all visitors and doctors having come outside.
Also, in Irpin’s city public pages, it is reported that a number of objects in the city are allegedly "bombed". Among them are shopping centers (WhiteHouse, Giraffe, Irpin City), the central market, the city council, and the railway station. In addition, there have been "traditional" reports of alleged explosives in the tax university.
It is worth noting that there is already an official confirmation that the city is indeed experiencing a wave of false bomb threats. The capital’s police stated that there are indeed a number of reports about the "bombing" of several educational institutions, shopping malls, administrative buildings "and not only".
Law enforcement agencies react to such reports in a standard manner - each report is checked on-site. Police reported that specialized services and investigative-operational teams have been dispatched to the locations to verify each report.
It should be noted that the clearly mass and coordinated nature of such waves is concerning. The percentage of "truthful" reports is usually negligible, implying that the hoaxers have another goal. It can be assumed that their aim is to destabilize the usual life of Kyiv residents, paralyze law enforcement and special services responses for some time, and create at least the appearance of chaos.
