The railway station in Shostka was hit twice: 30 people were injured

As reported by the Minister of Communities and Territories Oleksiy Kuleba, the railway station in Shostka was hit twice.

According to him, the first strike targeted the locomotive of the Tereshchens’ka–Novhorod-Siverskyi commuter train.

The second strike was inflicted on the electric traction of the Kyiv — Shostka train.

«Among the passengers and «Ukrzaliznytsia» employees, there are injured individuals. Medical teams have already hospitalized the wounded and are providing necessary medical assistance. The rest are in shelters under the control of rescuers and will be evacuated after the alarm ends», Kuleba stated.

It is important to note that recently, Russian forces have been increasingly targeting locomotives on Ukrainian railways. An incident was reported here.

The moment of the strike on the railway station in Shostka, which affected a passenger train. Judging by the smoke visible even before the strike, this was not the first incident.
