Russians are preparing an assault on Pokrovsk and UAV sites to disrupt the logistics of the AFU

Russian troops are concentrating their forces in the Pokrovsk direction, their goal is to enter Pokrovsk and set up UAV platforms on buildings to disrupt the logistics of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

This was stated by Ukrainian Armed Forces officer and Lieutenant Colonel Serhiy Tsekhotskyi on the air of Channel 24.

The military official explained that the occupiers are trying to storm in small groups and advance at certain points. According to him, the task of Ukrainian defenders is to detect the occupiers in advance and prevent them from reaching those points:

In addition, I want to emphasize that with the opportunities that we have, for which we are also preparing, we are conducting countermeasures, counter-offensive actions, and in certain areas, as soon as the situation allows, we are clearing those territories that the enemy had previously captured.

Tsekhotskyi emphasized that even with minimal advancement, the Russians immediately deploy the Russian flag, but the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ fighters counterattack and know the enemy’s subsequent intentions:

"They really want to enter Pokrovsk. From what we hear in intercepts, their task is to set up their UAV platforms there on high-rise buildings to disrupt our logistics. First of all, this concerns the Pavlohrad-Pokrovsk road. Also, Myrnograd is standing, holding out. Rodynske is holding out. At the same time, we still manage to counterattack in certain areas."
