At night, Russia attacked a thermal power plant of "Naftogaz": A fire broke out at the site of the shelling

Russian troops attacked one of Naftogaz’s thermal power plants on the night of October 15, and a fire broke out at the site of the shelling.

This was reported by  the press service of Naftogaz.

"Over the past seven days, the enemy has conducted massive attacks on the gas infrastructure facilities of the Naftogaz Group three times. Tonight, one of the thermal power plants of the Naftogaz Group came under attack," the company reported.

It is reported that during the week, the enemy struck gas production facilities in the Kharkiv region, as well as deliberately targeted critically important facilities in the Sumy and Chernihiv regions.

"These facilities have no connection to military targets. Russian terrorists are committing yet another act of terrorism aimed at leaving Ukraine without gas, heat, and electricity in winter. Russians cannot understand that they will not break or intimidate us this way. We will restore everything. We will rebuild everything," said Serhiy Koretskyi, the Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine.
