Denmark allocates 1.1 billion kroner for a new military aid package for Ukraine

Denmark will provide 1.1 billion Danish kroner for a new military aid package to Ukraine, which includes support for the Navy, tank maintenance, and training programs for Ukrainian military personnel. 

This was announced by the Ministry of Defence of Denmark.

400 million kroner will be allocated for the training and preparation of Ukrainian military personnel, including the purchase of training and educational equipment. The remaining funds will be directed towards enhancing maritime capabilities, repairing armored vehicles, supplying fuel, and providing rehabilitation support — the latter two initiatives are implemented under the auspices of NATO.

«It is extremely important that Denmark continues to support Ukraine with military aid at all levels. As part of the 27th package, we are allocating 1.1 billion kroner for initiatives that strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities — from maritime equipment to training programs for soldiers. All these measures collectively enhance the combat capabilities of the Ukrainian army», – stated Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen.

The total value of the aid amounts to 2.7 billion kroner for the period of 2025–2028. Of this amount, 1.6 billion will be transferred for the production of drones, ammunition, and missiles through Ukraine’s defense industry. This part of the package was presented on September 26.
