The AFU are conducting search and strike operations in Kupyansk, destroying enemy infantry groups, — General Staff

Warriors of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are destroying enemy infantry groups trying to break through to Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region. The Defence Forces are conducting search and strike operations throughout the city, inflicting losses on the occupiers.

This was reported in a media comment by the spokesman of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Dmytro Lykhoviy. According to him, special forces units, mechanized brigades, the Military Law Enforcement Service, and the Security Service of Ukraine are taking part in the operations.

According to the General Staff, as of October 14, the Russians concentrated about 80 servicemen in Kupyansk. Ukrainian forces are blocking the increase of this contingent and destroying enemy groups attempting to break through to the city.

On October 15, Ukrainian troops eliminated three occupiers. The General Staff emphasizes that the main goal of the operations is to prevent the accumulation of enemy forces in the city and to completely liberate it from the Russians.

Search and strike operations are being carried out by units of the 127th Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade, Special Operations Forces, Military Law Enforcement Service, and the Security Service of Ukraine. UAV operators are tracking and destroying Russian positions.
