The Verkhovna Rada approved Berezhna as Minister of Culture and Deputy Prime Minister

The Verkhovna Rada appointed Tetiana Berezhna as the Deputy Prime Minister for Humanitarian Policy - Minister of Culture of Ukraine. "For" voted 266 deputies.

This became known during the broadcast from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

Thus, after almost three months of acting duties, Berezhna officially assumed the position of Minister of Culture and became the first Deputy Prime Minister for Humanitarian Issues in the last six years.

It’s worth noting that since July 28, 2025, after the formation of the government headed by Yuliya Svyrydenko, the position of Minister of Culture remained vacant.

This was the only department temporarily led by an acting official, lacking several necessary profile deputies at the same time.
