The SBI has detained former head of "Ukrenergo" Volodymyr Kudrytskyi - Media

The State Bureau of Investigation has announced another suspicion against businessman Ihor Hrynkevych, who is currently in pre-trial detention, and detained Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, the former head of "Ukrenergo," in the Lviv region.

This was reported by an interlocutor from "Ukrainska Pravda" in law enforcement agencies.

According to the source, UP is preparing a suspicion notice for Kudrytskyi.

According to preliminary classification, it concerns fraud on an especially large scale and money laundering obtained through criminal means.

The investigation believes that Kudrytskyi and Hrynkevych may have misappropriated funds from a state company during tenders for the reconstruction of energy system facilities as early as 2018.
