HACC has taken into custody the deputy head of "Atomenergomash" for receiving a bribe

Detention: HACC Applied a Preventive Measure to the Deputy Head of a State Enterprise.

On November 5, 2025, at the request of NABU detectives, approved by the SAPO prosecutor, the investigating judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) applied a preventive measure to the deputy general director of the branch «SS «Atomenergomash» of JSC «NNEGC «Energoatom», who had been exposed the day before for requesting and receiving an undue benefit.

The court agreed with the position of the SAPO prosecutor and applied a preventive measure in the form of detention to the suspect, with the alternative of posting a bail of UAH 4 million.

In case the bail is posted, the following procedural obligations will be imposed on the individual:
- to appear before the investigator (detective), prosecutor, and court upon every request;
- not to leave the city of Kyiv without the permission of the investigator (detective), prosecutor, or court;
- to inform the investigator (detective), prosecutor, or court about any change in their place of residence;
- to refrain from communicating with a specified group of individuals;
- to surrender their passports for international travel and other documents granting the right to leave and enter Ukraine to the relevant state authorities for safekeeping;
- to wear an electronic monitoring device.
