Ukrainian "paratrooper" in Nice Vadym Stolar: neither flag nor Homeland

When the Russian airborne forces stormed Gostomel, killing Ukrainians in the process, some of those whose actions led the airborne troops to our country successfully landed and established themselves on the French Riviera.

This refers to the Ukrainian MP Vadym Stolar, who, having secured a foothold on the Mediterranean, is holding it steadfastly and even symbolically exited from the OPFL faction as a sign of solidarity with his bloodied homeland. In absentia, of course – lest someone, while he flashes to Kyiv for this, unhooks his beloved property in the form of a villa in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat near Nice?

Beautiful, isn’t it? What Ukraine. Moreover – the Verkhovna Rada, where Vadym Stolar is a deputy, and in which, as statistics show, he hasn’t been present even once over the past half year (since the full-scale hostilities began).

And how can one arrive at the Rada when there it is – a villa on a cape of the French Riviera, projecting into the sea, in a town ranked second after Monaco in terms of housing cost? In such circumstances, one might forget about the villa in Koncha-Zaspa, which belongs to the son of the former Kyiv mayor Leonid Chernovetskyi and which Stolar rented from him, not to mention the suffocating and scandalous session hall.

Especially since Stolar knew about the Russian invasion and the assault in Gostomel, the shelling of Bucha, Irpin, and the sabotage-reconnaissance groups in Kyiv in advance – he left leisurely, a few days before February 24. What Rada. Moreover – the "Opposition Platform – For Life" faction, which actively beckoned to our land the whole beauty of the "Russian world". Only, strangely enough, it almost in its entirety fled this "Russian world" just before it arrived.

That all these Russian stooges planned their evacuation in advance, in Stolar’s case, is confirmed by the fact that he drives along the French Riviera in his "Mercedes", registered in Ukraine:

Black and white. Just like Yin and Yang. Excuse this bitter sarcasm – a journalist should be impartial, but how can one be unbiased when one sees images of a Russian tank on Stolar’s native Obolon flattening a car carrying a Ukrainian family?
Someone might say, well, Stolar had nothing to do with it – he was already far from Ukraine at that moment. Of course, the tank’s driver was some Russian Ivan. But what all these Ivans and Ahmets are doing in our country is the result of the actions of even the OPFL, from which Vadym Stolar was an MP. And remains, even though OPFL is now banned.

It seems that "bloody boys" don’t haunt him, like other collaborators. Because he managed to do the main thing for himself – he raked in so much cash in Ukraine that now he doesn’t need to look at it. He can wait out troubled times in Nice, especially since Russian curators took care to timely warn their faithful minions.

Apparently hoping that in a week or two these people will form an "anti-fascist government in liberated Ukraine". But something went wrong, and the OPFL "anti-fascists" got stuck in Nice:

But maybe it’s for the best. For them, of course. Because, as practice showed, the lives of collaborators are now not valued by either their Russian masters, nor even less by the "liberated from the Nazis" locals.

Near Stolar’s villa is the estate of Akhmetov, nearby reside Kostyantyn Zhevaho, Ihor and Hryhoriy Surkis, Yuriy Khomutynnyk, Serhiy Lyovochkin… A glorious company. And what is characteristic – they all without exception actively resisted Euro-integration of our country and drew us into the embrace of the "big brother". And for some reason, fled from these embraces to the cursed West. Where they bought housing at one of the most expensive and luxurious resorts. Why not in beloved Syzran or, for example, in Syktyvkar?

Meanwhile, Vadym Stolar is a man without a homeland. A cosmopolitan for whom only money matters. His political career testifies vividly to this.

From 2006 to 2010, during Viktor Yushchenko’s presidency, he was a member of his party "Our Ukraine". From April 2010 to August 2012, during Viktor Yanukovych’s presidency, he was a member of the Party of Regions. Characteristically, during the 2012 elections, Stolar tried not to advertise his connection with the Party of Regions – by that time it was already toxic.

He stood as an independent candidate from his native Obolon, but lost the election, despite envelopes with 200 hryvnias voters were receiving. It didn’t help that Vadym Stolar’s team laid more than 18,000 m² of asphalt, repaired about 130 old children’s playgrounds, and installed 13 new ones, delivering 4,800 tons of sand and black soil to the yards. Workers in clothing with Vadym Stolar’s logo painted fences and repaired entrances.

In 2014, working at the UDAR campaign headquarters, he ran as an independent candidate to the Kyiv City Council. He won the elections, since, among other things, the "UDAR" nominated a young activist, Olha Lyulchak, against him, who had no chance of success. In the Kyiv City Council, he cooperated with the so-called "Poroshenko group", coordinating its position with the position of "UDAR".

In 2019, he was elected to Parliament already from the OPFL.

All this, aside from characterizing Ukrainian political forces, also gives the brightest characterization of Vadym Stolar. For whom one thing is important – to be at the top, controlling the flows. And the only ideology he shares and understands is money. More money, regardless of how it is earned.

According to MP Serhiy Leshchenko, Vadym Stolar is behind the scandalous construction on Mykilska Slobidka. According to him, Stolar is a close friend of Serhiy Lyovochkin and an associate of Ihor Nikonov (the first deputy head of Kyiv and the primary developer in the projects of Dmytro Firtash and Vagif Aliyev). Stolar has long been called "the gray cardinal" of Klychko, and even now, despite his voluntary exile, he has not lost influence on processes happening in the capital.

In 2015, Vadym Stolar acted as a mediator between Klychko and the leadership of the PPB in negotiations on merging the president’s party and UDAR. As a result, according to Capitol and RBC-Ukraine publications, Stolar began to control a significant portion of the capital’s "shadow flows" in connection with his influence over heads of some municipal enterprises (about 30%) and the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA) department of amenities.

He was behind the scandalous "Elite-Center". Vadym Stolar was one of the shareholders of Conversbank (CityCommerceBank), which went bankrupt in 2014. Another shareholder in "Conversbank", Russian billionaire, accused by Lithuanian authorities of embezzling hundreds of millions of dollars, Volodymyr Antonov, claims that "Stolar and three others embezzled €13.3 million belonging to him from Conversbank".

In 2011, Vadym Stolar vouched for the loans of companies that supplied the State Reserve Agency with substandard diesel fuel worth 160.63 million hryvnias. Then, at the State Reserve Agency auctions, the only competitor of "Imoti Star" was LLC "Legendas-M", headed by a trusted person of Vadym Stolar.

On State Reserve Agency procurements, Stolar’s entourage brought out companies that sell at inflated prices and buy at under-valued ones. This was not an isolated incident. The second winner of State Reserve Agency auctions - "LLC PCE "SKB"", which was supposed to supply fuel worth 42.13 million, for which Vadym Stolar also vouched, delivered substandard fuel and was also fined. The founder of the third company (LLC "StolytsiaInvestBud"), which sold goods to the State Reserve Agency at inflated prices and through which the state lost over 40 million hryvnias, was the wife of Stolar’s assistant.

In 2014, the court found Stolar guilty and demanded to seize Stolar’s estate, but he didn’t hand it over, and "gifted" it to his wife.

This is just a superficial characteristic of a first-rank public servant, Ukrainian MP Vadym Stolar. Who took the oath of allegiance to Ukraine as an MP. But, as mentioned, this oath is a piece of paper that opens access to the country’s resources. Because for people like him, there is one homeland – money.

Money earned through "hard work" in a country he so despises was somehow invested in the European Union he shamed from the parliamentary rostrum. And as you can see, there was something to invest.

And looking at everything Russia is doing in our country, which OPFL members in general and MP from this political force Vadym Stolar love so much in particular, I want to ask his voters – how’s the mood?
