It took almost two weeks for the owner of the "Starokonnyi" Shopping Center in Odesa to physically regain control of his property. During all this time, raiders were hiding behind forged documents, "titushky", a security firm, and even the special unit "Titan" of the Security Police Department of Odesa region.

Endless calls to "102", filing applications, and proving that you are the owner whom the former tenant is not allowing to his property. It seemed that after going through all this absurd theater, justice had prevailed, and the owner regained control of his property.

However, the owner of the "Starokonnyi" Shopping Center is forced to prepare for another defense against the raider.

It was Mark Hordiyenko who reported on the preparation of a new takeover. According to him, "There is information and evidence that the raiders have hired a hundred thugs and tomorrow plan to seize the market".

Our sources confirmed the information that the raider-lawyer Artem Shamray decided to continue the terror that has been going on for more than a year. Initially, he and his accomplices tried to carry out an "illegal re-registration of property rights and lease agreements for real estate objects located on the territory of the ’Starokonnyi’ Shopping Center using forged documents". Currently, the raiders are recruiting "titushky" throughout Ukraine for a forceful capture of the object. They are being sought in Dnipro, Kharkiv, and Odesa regions.

How will the police behave further? When the police choose a non-intervention strategy and merely observe what is happening, in most cases, it indicates that an order has been given from above not to intervene in the situation. In the story of Odesa’s "Starokonnyi", it can be said that the police sympathize with the raiders. One example is when a representative of the shopping center’s owner tries to prove his right, he is interviewed in detail, and the application is accepted, but not entered into the pre-trial investigations register. When the raider comes, his words are taken as truth.

Perhaps, this is explained by the fact that the raider-lawyer Artem Shamray and the well-known figures behind him motivated the head of the National Police’s Main Directorate in the Odesa region, Ivan Zhuk, with a quarter of a million dollars.

By the way, according to our information, an investigation into the fact of fraud and forgery of documents by the raiders is already actively being conducted by the main investigative department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
