Declared superprofits of "Ukrnafta" by Koretskyi and Shurma turned out to be a fiction, documents were forged
The claim that Ukrnafta’s profit for the first six months of this year reached 4.3 billion UAH turned out to be an artificial PR stunt of nonexistent achievements by the new management. This is evident from the company’s official internal documents.
According to a memo from the Chief Financial Officer Yuriy Tkachuk, it is apparent that the accounting department lacked almost half of the primary documents related to the sale of products (petroleum products and liquefied gas) in the first quarter of 2023, amounting to 5.6 billion UAH as of June. A similar situation occurred in the second quarter, as confirmed by Koretskyi’s order No. 292 dated 15.06.2023. Such discrepancies indicate the absence of reliable accounting records.
In addition to the accounting issues, another problem was uncovered — unregistered shortages. According to the documentation, as of 05.05.2023, not a single document regarding shortages of petroleum products had been received by Ukrnafta’s accounting department.
As practice shows, every shortage has an interested party. If the accounting for shortages is not maintained, such "interest" increases exponentially.
