ISW: Ukrainian soldiers have achieved confirmed successes in Krinki

The success of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Krynki is confirmed by geolocation videos from this area.

Ukrainian soldiers achieved success in Krynki on the left bank of the Kherson region. The Russians recently advanced into northern Avdeevka and continued positional fighting with the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area.

According to a report from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the success of the AFU in Krynki is confirmed by geolocation videos from the area. Positional battles continued on the eastern bank of the Kherson region on February 9.

The head of the Southern Operational Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Natalya Gumenyuk, said that Russian troops have reduced the intensity of shelling of Ukrainian positions on the eastern bank of the Kherson region and increased number of assaults without armored vehicles due to significant losses of military equipment.

At the same time, the Russians made minor gains west of Bakhmut, and Ukrainian troops advanced southwest of the city. Additional geolocation footage released on February 9 shows that Ukrainian troops have advanced west of Horlivka (southwest of Bakhmut).

Russian troops are also reported to have advanced further into Novomikhailivka amid ongoing positional fighting to the west and southwest of Donetsk.
