A change in military command will open up new perspectives in understanding events at the front, because the Ukrainian Armed Forces cannot rely solely on defense. This was stated by the adviser to the head of the OPU, Mikhail Podolyak, in a commentary to Channel 24.

“The replacement will allow us to look differently at the tactical and tactical-operational actions that we need on the front line on the ground. We cannot sit on the defensive,” Podolyak emphasized.

For the Russian elite who support Putin, the cost of the war does not matter. This explains why the enemy can continue to apply pressure with massive actions in any direction.

The Operational Control Advisor noted that for successful combat operations in 2024, it is necessary to actively attack Russia’s logistics infrastructure. The goal is to complicate the movement of reserves and resources of the Russian Federation, as well as to complicate the rotation of military forces.

According to Podolyak, it is important to conduct special operations not only in temporarily occupied territories, but also on those who play a role in directly supporting military actions against Ukraine.

“We need to increase information pressure on countries that are partners of Ukraine. They must realize that if they want to get it on their territory, they will definitely get it if Ukraine does not win this war,” said the adviser to the head of the OPU.
