Millionaire deputy from Kyiv regional council does not indicate common-law wife in declaration

Serhiy Levchenko, a member of the Kyiv Regional Council from the ’Servant of the People’ party and owner of a jewellery business, who has already been involved in a scandal with an undeclared Tesla, does not list his common-law wife in his declaration.

The editorial board learned about this from the analysis of his declarations for 2018 to 2022, the last of which he sent to the NACP at the end of January 2024.

Biography

Serhiy started his first steps in business as an apprentice in a jewellery store. In 1996, he founded the Diamant jewellery chain. From 2001 to 2008, Levchenko was the CEO of the Eurogold jewellery factory. At the same time, from 2002 to 2008, he held the position of CEO of Lombard PJSC.

From 2009 to 2014, Serhiy worked as a private entrepreneur. After moving to Kyiv, in 2017 he became CEO of Kansas LLC (Koncha Zaspa Central Park KNZS). Levchenko is a keen sports fisherman. He is the captain of the Donbass-Ukraine national team, which once won the silver medal at the World Championships.

In 2020, Serhii took part in the elections to the Kyiv Regional Council. He ran as a candidate of the Servant of the People party in the 8th electoral district (Vasylkiv, Obukhiv, Myroniv, Kaharlyk, Bohuslav, Ukrayinska, Rzhyshchiv, Fedosiyivska and Kozynska territorial communities).

Civilian wife
For several years now, MP Levchenko has been stating that he does not have a common-law wife, but only one son, Matviy. Previously, it was stated that the politician was in a civil marriage, raising two sons (another Oleksandr) and a daughter. Previously, Levchenko listed as his common-law wife Suzanna Sailyan (Sailian) from Kharkiv, who has her own private entrepreneurship and sells clothes for women. She was previously listed as the vice president of Central Park Koncha-Zaspa. At the same time, the politician did not even indicate any property owned by the woman in his declaration as a candidate for the post of deputy.

In her Instagram account, Suzanna Sailyan almost does not indicate her connection with Leshchenko, but it exists. In 2022 and 2023, the woman published photographs with the son of a deputy of the Kyiv Regional Council on vacation.

Levchenko himself was caught in Suzanna’s video while celebrating his son’s birthday several years ago.

The woman herself has closed her Facebook pages, but is active on Instagram. During the war, she continues to lead a luxurious lifestyle.

Of course, we can say that Levchenko and Sailyan no longer live together, but there is one surprising fact. In politics, there is an apartment in Kharkiv (79.9 sq. m.), which he purchased in 2015, allegedly for 680 thousand hryvnia. Since 2018, Suzanna’s relatives have been living here free of charge - brother Asatur Sailyan and his wife Darya, who works as a court secretary in the Moscow District Court of Kharkiv.

Real estate

As for real estate, the MP owned three apartments (in Kyiv, Kharkiv and Donetsk), apartments in Yalta and Turkey, three residential buildings (Donetsk, Starobilsk in Luhansk region and Kyiv), five land plots and one non-residential building in Donetsk.

In 2016, he bought a house (493.8 sq m) and land in the capital for almost UAH 3 million. In 2020, Levchenko bought another house in Kyiv for UAH 8 million (392.4 sq m). Another UAH 2.6 million was spent on land. It is in these houses that the politician’s children live.

In 2018, Levchenko became the owner of a Land Rover Range Rover Evoque. During the war, in September 2022, the politician bought a Mercedes Benz E 220 (2017) for allegedly 800 thousand hryvnias. The editorial office does not know where his Tesla went. Perhaps the property is registered to relatives of his common-law wife or other persons.

Levchenko also keeps 87.2 thousand dollars, 8 million hryvnias and 178.1 thousand euros in cash.
