Zelenskyy: Russia’s losses in the war are five times higher than Ukraine’s

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy claims that the losses of the Russian occupation army in the war in Ukraine are at least five times higher than those of the Ukrainian Defence Forces. For every defender of Ukraine killed, there are five liquidated occupiers.

He said this in an interview with the American television channel Fox News , published on Friday, February 23. The head of state clarified that these are approximate statistics.

“Tens of thousands of people were killed. Tens of thousands of children were deported. If we compare the number of soldiers killed, I would say the ratio is 1:5. For every Ukrainian soldier killed in battle, there are 5 Russian soldiers,” the president said.
