Macron spoke about a new coalition to supply Ukraine with long-range weapons

French President Emmanuel Macron said that partner countries and allies will create a coalition to supply Ukraine with medium- and long-range missiles.

According to the French leader, after a press conference in Paris to support Ukraine, it was decided to “create a coalition for deep strikes and, therefore, medium- and long-range missiles and bombs.”

“Over the next ten days we are going to make all these efforts because we have looked at many European and non-European countries that have ammunition,” Macron said.

The French President also called on the Europeans to “produce more” relevant weapons.

Macron also recalled that eight coalitions had previously been created to support Ukraine, each of which was dedicated to certain types of weapons. The current one will be the ninth.

In addition, according to him, representatives of the overwhelming majority of countries at the special summit in Paris spoke about the need to be prepared for a possible attack by Russia in a few years.
