German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in his video message states that NATO will not become a party to the conflict in Ukraine, German soldiers will not be sent to Ukraine.

“We don’t want Russia’s war against Ukraine to turn into a war between Russia and NATO,” the chancellor continued.

According to him, the German federal government and all allies agree on this.

“To be clear: as Chancellor of Germany, I will not send soldiers from our Bundeswehr to Ukraine. This applies. Soldiers can rely on this,” the chancellor said.
