A blockade of all cargo checkpoints has begun on the border between Ukraine and Poland
On 13 March, Polish farmers expanded their border blockade to include the Korchova-Krakivets checkpoint. As a result, the strike again covered all six cargo checkpoints: in addition to Korchova-Krakivets, the blockade of Dorohusk-Yahodyn, Zosyn-Ustyluh, Dovhobychuv-Uhryniv, Hrebenne-Rava-Ruska, and Medyka-Shehyni checkpoints also continues.
This was reported by the State Border Service of Ukraine (SBSU). “According to the Polish side, on March 13 at 10:00 Warsaw time, protests and blocking of freight traffic in front of the Korcheva-Krakivets checkpoint will begin,” the message says. Let us remind you: this checkpoint was unblocked on March 9, but only temporarily .
Now representatives of Polish farmers have resumed blocking the road along which trucks move to leave Poland - at a distance of up to 1 km from the checkpoint. There is also a blocking of the A4 motorway at a distance of up to 500 m from the checkpoint.
It is assumed that the movement of passenger transport (cars and buses) in both directions will be carried out unhindered. Also, on all roads to the Ukrainian border in Poland, where farmers are protesting, since March 13, the Polish police have been tightening security.
