Taxpayers can now interact with the tax office via video communication: Zelenskyy signed the law
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed bill No. 9662, which gives taxpayers the opportunity to interact with the State Tax Service via video conference.
This was announced by the head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy, Danylo Hetmantsev, on Telegram.
In addition, the bill has such innovations as the establishment of tax benefits for payment for land and tax on real estate other than a land plot for settlements subject to mandatory evacuation of the population.
The new law also proposes:
- exemption from personal income tax and taxation at a preferential rate of 7% VAT on compassionate drugs;
- solving the problem of taxpayers who mistakenly paid taxes to the wrong account. We are talking about cases where funds entered the budget, but were mistakenly sent to another budget account;
- reducing the time frame for budgetary reimbursement;
- solving the problem of overestimation by some tobacco product manufacturers of loss rates for raw tobacco and the possibility of writing off raw tobacco as “waste”.
