Mobilized doctors will receive officer ranks, - Ministry of Defence
Mobilized doctors who did not graduate from the military department are offered to complete training in 40 days and return to service with the rank of junior lieutenant.
In Ukraine, a new form of training and procedure for obtaining an officer rank will be introduced for mobilized doctors .
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defence on Telegram.
“The Ministry of Defence is introducing a new form of training and procedure for obtaining an officer rank for mobilized doctors,” the statement says.
In particular, mobilized doctors who did not graduate from the military department can receive the rank of junior lieutenant and return to service in the corresponding post in 40 days instead of four months. According to Deputy Defence Minister Natalya Kalmykova, the training will include online courses and 18 days of practical training at the Military Medical Academy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

At the same time, civilian doctors without military education can complete training in four months. We are talking about courses on an individual schedule at military departments of medical universities. As a result, doctors will have the opportunity to obtain an officer rank.

The Ministry of Defence added that the training course will start on April 8.
