Borrell and Kuleba discussed the possibilities of the European Union to supply Patriot systems to Ukraine

The minister informed Borrell about Russian ballistic missile attacks on the Ukrainian capital and other cities.

He also said he appreciated Borrell’s support and concern about the number of Russian missiles fired at Ukraine.

“I noted the importance of supplying Ukraine with more Patriot air defense systems and other air defense systems capable of intercepting ballistic missiles,” Kuleba wrote.

EU Possibilities for Patriot Air Defenec Supply

According to Kuleba, Ukraine is now the only country in the world that is attacked almost daily by ballistic missiles.

The minister added that Patriots must be deployed here and now to save lives, and not remain in places where the missile threat is zero.

“We discussed what the EU can do to help Ukraine quickly obtain more Patriot and other air defence systems,” the Ukrainian Foreign Minister wrote.
