The Russian Army is trying to conduct unmanned reconnaissance along the contact line in the south and in the rear.

Natalya Humenyuk, head of the joint press center of the Operational Command "South", said this on air at the national telethon "Unified News".

“They (losses - ed.) are still counting them and have not quite come to their senses. We see that there is no activity of the naval group in the waters of either the Black or Azov Seas. Ensuring the security of the base point is actually happening from within. They are trying to expose the surface radar situation way, without going on combat duty,” Humenyuk said.

She added that the enemy has strengthened aerial unmanned reconnaissance because it cannot expose the situation by going to sea.

“We see the activity of unmanned reconnaissance aircraft in the direction of the Mykolaiv and Odesa regions. We regularly detect the presence of such drones over the sea area and continue combat work against them. Over the past combat day, we managed to destroy three unmanned reconnaissance aircraft in our operational zone,” Humenyuk noted.

According to her, the enemy is trying to reconnoiter the situation as much as possible both on the lines of contact and in the rear.

"In addition, they are trying to look for targets for future attacks as part of targeted ballistic attacks, for example, like yesterday’s attack in Mykolaiv, and such attacks that they are planning on energy facilities. It is obvious that they continue to have an interest in this direction. "If before we We recorded about 150 drones and reconnaissance aircraft per day in our operational area, now due to storm warnings, gusty winds, and increased fog, they have reduced activity, but it is not lower than 80-90 unmanned reconnaissance aircraft per day,” she said.
