“During the drone attack in our area of responsibility, we also observed enemy missile strikes, in particular, the enemy sent an Iskander-M type ballistic missile to the territory of the Kherson region, and sent an X-59 controlled by tactical aircraft from the Black Sea. an aircraft missile, directly during the training of a fractional attack,” said Natalya Humenyuk.

According to her, this time the drone attack was focused on the energy sector of the Odesa region. The enemy “abundantly poured in” drones from the Black Sea, and they managed to work quite effectively.

A total of 8 drones were destroyed, the fragments of one of them fell onto the territory of the power facility, causing a fire and causing a short circuit. The facility itself and up to 170 thousand subscribers, according to preliminary data, were de-energized. No people were hurt. Two more drones hit an agricultural enterprise in the Kherson region, no people were injured, the facility was mothballed.

“The enemy apparently tried to hit certain targets with missiles, but still the hit occurred in an open area. Fortunately, no people were hurt either. The very fact that the enemy combines drone, ballistic and air-launched missile attacks indicates an attempt deplete air defense systems and win any victories using a combined method,” the speaker noted.
