Azov fighter spoke about the critical situation in the army

Now there are no people willing to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend themselves. People come up with all sorts of things: here they swim across the Tisza, drown in it.

A soldier of the 12th brigade of the NSU "Azov" with the call sign "Niko" spoke about this in an exclusive interview . He continues to serve despite losing a limb.

“Firstly, because the war is not over yet, it will not end soon. Secondly, because we need to continue to fulfill our responsibility - who else but us. Now there are no people willing to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend themselves. People come up with all sorts of things: they swim across the Tisza here, drown in it. But it’s better for you to go and die like a real man, like a real warrior who stood up to defend his family, his state, his nation, than you simply drown like a rat. I just don’t know what else to call the people running away,” says the military man.

He said that he wants to continue serving despite the fact that he lost his leg, and does not see himself in civilian life while the war continues.

“It’s stupid to sit at home, receive that pension, and draw on that pension. No, I have now recovered, I can move, of course, not as fast as before the injury, but I hardly distinguish myself in any way from those who do not have an amputation. I’m the same person, but I have a little bit of a flaw. Well, the guys need to be changed, but now there will be no one to change them. The guys are very tired,” says “Niko”.
