Ukraine will receive NBS anti-aircraft guns from Latvia

Latvia has decided to provide Ukraine with a new batch of military assistance, which will include, in particular, NBS anti-aircraft guns and surveillance drones. The country’s Prime Minister Evika Silina provided details to the microblogging service X.

The assistance also includes other necessary material and technical means. This will help, as the Latvian government hopes, to improve both the air defense and intelligence capabilities of Ukraine.

“The government has just agreed on the transfer of NBS anti-aircraft guns to the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” she said.

Evika Silina added that Latvia will continue to try to support Ukraine in countering Russian aggression. The Baltic state allocates about 0.25% of its GDP per year to support Ukraine.

“We will continue to support Ukraine both at the bilateral level and together with our allies,” she explained.
