On Remembrance Day, Zelenskyy called on the world to stop Russia: "The world slept through the revival of Nazism"
On the Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on the world to stop the revival of Nazism from Russia. He stressed that only a united free world is able to prove its commitment to the words "Never again!" so that "Never again!" becomes relevant again.
The head of state wrote about this in his Telegram . He noted that today everyone who remembers the Second World War and has lived to this day feels déjà vu.
“The world slept through the revival of Nazism – at 5 am on February 24, 2022,” Zelenskyy noted.
"The battle for Kyiv, the bombing of Kharkiv, Odesa, Dnipro, mass graves, deportation of children, filtration camps, colonies for prisoners. Russia returned pages from textbooks about World War II to the headlines of the world media, proving with each new crime: Nazism has been revived. Only with a new one marked: “Made in Russia,” Zelenskyy emphasized.
He is convinced that only the free world, united in an anti-Putin coalition, can stop Russian Nazism, as in 1945.
