A resident of Odesa contacted the police with a statement about fraud committed while trying to purchase cryptocurrency.

This was reported by the Dumska Telegram channel with reference to sources in the department.

According to the victim, he saw in Telegram a link to a smart contract for purchasing Lifeform (LFT) cryptocurrency through the Binance exchange.

After clicking on it, the Odesa resident made three transactions through a Web3 wallet for a total amount of $32,000.

The support team stated that the link the user clicked was fraudulent.

The issue of entering the case materials into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations of Ukraine is being resolved.
