On May 11, Russian invaders attacked the Sumy region with missiles. The infrastructure of the suburbs of the regional center came under enemy attack.

Subsequently, the RMA clarified : as a result of the enemy strike, there was at least one casualty.

“As a result of an enemy missile strike carried out today, May 11, on the suburb of Sumy, a woman born in 1987 died, receiving multiple injuries incompatible with life. We express our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. Elimination of the consequences of the Russian attack continues,” they said.

They urged local residents not to ignore air raid warnings, go to shelters, follow safety rules and take care of themselves and loved ones.

An air raid alert was issued in the area around 4:05 p.m. And already at 16:10 Suspilny correspondents in Sumy reported that an explosion was heard in the city.
