Situation at the front: 130 military clashes occurred in 24 hours

The eight hundred and eleventh day of the large-scale war waged by Russia against our state is passing. During the day, 130 military clashes took place. The main attention is focused on the Kharkiv direction.

This was announced by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the evening report on May 14, 2024. The situation at the front remains difficult.

The Russian occupiers are attacking intensively with air support, using their advantage in manpower and equipment. Ukrainian defenders hold back the enemy’s pressure and inflict maximum losses on him.

Situation at the front

In the Kharkiv sector, the number of hostile attacks increased to 14. Combat actions took place in the vicinity of Liptsy, Vovchansk and Neskuchne. The occupants’ losses in the area over the last day amounted to about 120 servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces and 23 pieces of weapons and military equipment.

In the Kupyansk sector, 20 combat engagements were registered, in particular in the areas of Sinkivka, Berestove and Myasozharivka.

In the Siverskyi sector, Russian troops carried out nine attacks near Spirne, Ivan-Daryivka, Verkhnekamianske and Rozdolivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy became more active. The number of enemy attacks increased significantly to 21.

In the Pokrovsk sector, the enemy continues to carry out air strikes, in particular in the areas of Umanske, Novoselivka Persha and Zhelanne. The occupants used combat aircraft 16 times. The enemy is also using unmanned aerial vehicles. A total of 40 occupants’ attacks took place in this sector today, most of them in the areas of Novooleksandrivka, Netailove and Solovyovo.

In the Kurakhove sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully repelled 9 enemy attacks. The enemy is concentrating its efforts in the areas of Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka and Krasnohorivka.

In the Dnipro sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian defenders 5 times near Krynky today, without success.

There were no significant changes in the situation in the Lyman, Toretsk, Vremivsk, Hulyai Pole and Orikhivsk sectors.

Russian attacks

In total, the enemy launched 2 missile and 65 air strikes, carried out 74 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

Russian occupiers continue to terrorize the civilian population of the Sumy region. Today the invaders launched an air strike in the Dmytrivka area.
