Five people were killed by Russian ballistic missiles in Cherkaska Lozova, Kharkiv region, as of 14:00 on Sunday, 19 May, three of them were identified by documents. Among the victims is a local resident who was fishing 100 meters from the recreation center.

A pregnant woman also died. The head of the Investigation Department of the Kharkiv Region Police, Serhiy Bolvinov, shared the details, reports Suspilne.

The search team divided the area into squares because the area was overgrown and looked for victims and wounded. “One of the men died 100 meters from the base, he was fishing. A direct hit from debris in the heart,” said the law enforcement officer.

Russian troops fired two missiles into the territory of the base. The second one arrived 15-20 minutes after the first.

“At the time of the strike, there were only vacationing residents of the city here. During the full-scale invasion, the military was never here,” Bolvinov emphasized.
