Khmelnytskyi NPP contractor embezzled almost UAH 3 million

Under the procedural supervision of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the director of the capital’s company was served a notice of suspicion of misappropriation of property and forgery (Part 5 Article 191, Part 1 Article 366 of the Criminal Code).

The Office of the Prosecutor General reports this.

According to the investigation, the suspect deliberately entered false information into the construction documentation during repair work on the territory of a separate division of the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant of the State Enterprise NNEGC Energoatom. Thus, it artificially increased the costs of commissioning work.

The entrepreneur falsified acts of acceptance of work performed to compensate for travel expenses of the company’s employees. At the same time, they were not officially employed, but performed work under a contract.

Through her actions, the suspect caused material damage amounting to almost 3 million UAH.
