Zelenskyy held special meeting at NSDC and Stavka

On Wednesday, 22 May, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a special meeting on the basis of two structures - the National Security and Defence Council and the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Staff.

He announced this in his evening address to the nation.

The meeting was attended by NSDC Secretary Oleksandr Lytvynenko, Chief of the General Staff Anatoliy Barhylevych, Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, and Head of the Ministry of Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshin.

Participants talked about the production of electronic warfare, drones, Ukraine’s missile program, as well as countering Russian guided bombs.

“This is a complex topic, and while we see good trends regarding electronic warfare, drones, and the missile program, there is still a lot to be done with countering Russian bombs. There can be no alternatives - Ukraine needs systems and tactics that allow us to protect our positions, our cities and communities from these bombs,” Zelenskyy said.
