NABU officially confirmed an investigation into a possible information leak

It seems that a public conflict is beginning between NABU and SAP.

Let us remind you that yesterday the media reported that SAPO and the police were conducting searches at NABU in this case.

However, NABU reports that it is investigating this case and notes that “almost all investigative actions were carried out directly by SAPO prosecutors, including with the involvement of operatives of the National Police.”

At the same time, NABU in its statement came down quite harshly on the anti-corruption prosecutor’s office.

“We inform our colleagues in the SAPO: NABU had and still has enough resources to carry out the investigation. NABU always guarantees an independent, impartial and comprehensive pre-trial investigation and expects our main partners to have the same approach,” the message says.
