There have already been 27 military clashes in the Pokrovsk direction, 6 more are ongoing - General Staff

Most of the fighting since the beginning of this day has occurred in the Pokrovsk direction, already 27 military clashes. At the same time, during the day the occupiers do not give up attempts to advance in the Kharkiv region.

This is stated in the statement of the General Staff on the situation at the front as of 16:00 on May 26.

It is noted that the number of military clashes along the entire front line increased by another ten to 67.

The situation in the Kharkiv region

In the Kharkiv direction, Russian occupiers carried out assault operations from Murom towards Staritsa. Two more military clashes continue in the areas of Vovchansk and the village of Lyptsi. And the total number of battles in this direction by this time is 11. To the previous nine airstrikes, another one was added - Russian terrorists dropped a controlled air bomb near Slobozhanskyi.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attack continues at Novoehorivka. Twice, in the Pervomaisk area and not far from Kyslivka, there was enemy aircraft.

The situation in the East

In the Lyman direction, the invaders, having received repulse near Nevske, carried out two more unsuccessful assaults in the Terny area.

In the Siversk direction, Russian aviation struck with four guided bombs near Zakatne.

Six military clashes are ongoing in the Pokrovsk direction. Since the beginning of the day there are already 27 of them. The enemy is concentrating efforts, in particular, towards Novooleksandrivka and Umanske, supporting the actions of its units with air strikes. The situation is under control, Ukrainian defenders are giving a tough rebuff to the invaders. To date, the invaders have already lost 244 military personnel killed and wounded. Our soldiers also destroyed an enemy tank, two infantry fighting vehicles, three armored personnel carriers and a car, and also damaged a mortar.

In the Kurakhove direction, the number of military clashes has not changed. Russian terrorists dropped two CABs in the Kostantynivka area.

Situation in the South

In the Dnipro direction, in the Krynky area, another attack was repelled. Their total number has increased to four.

In other areas, the situation has not undergone significant changes.
