Ukraine and Belgium signed an agreement on security guarantees

The document was signed in Brussels by Zelenskyy and Prime Minister Alexander De Croo.

According to it, Belgium will allocate at least 977 million euros to Ukraine for military assistance this year and will continue to provide support in the next 10 years. It will transfer 30 F-16 fighters by 2028, the first of which will be delivered this year.

“Belgium guarantees that it will provide timely security assistance, modern military equipment and weapons ... and will facilitate military training,” the OP website says.

Ukraine has already signed such a defense agreement with 11 countries.
