Power outage schedules have been restored in Ukraine
Ukraine has returned to planned power outages - on June 1, from 18:00 to 23:00, hourly schedules will be in effect throughout the country. Moreover, for both industrial and household consumers. The reason is the consequences of massive Russian missile and drone attacks on Ukrainian power plants in the period from March 22 to May 8, which resulted in a significant deficit in the energy system. Accordingly, you should keep all important equipment - such as phones, laptops, power banks and charging stations - charged.
This was reported by Ukrenergo . They noted that due to significant damage, power plants cannot produce as much electricity as before the attacks.
“On June 1, limits on electricity consumption for industrial and household consumers will be in effect throughout Ukraine from 18:00 to 23:00. The power supply of critical infrastructure facilities is not limited,” the message says.
Ukrenergo does not create schedules
It should be understood that Ukrenergo does not draw up schedules; regional power companies in individual regions do this. Therefore, hourly shutdowns can only be applied when certain volume limits for each area are exceeded.
The schedules are written separately in each area. You can find out when shutdowns are applicable in a particular region in the consumer’s account, on the official websites of regional power companies, as well as on pages on social networks or chatbots.
